My name is Kenia Ortega-Vega.I crossed Fall 2010 -
Pi Chapter Lambda Class #2. I am extremely excited to be serving in the Executive Board with other wonderful alumnae. I joined the Alumnae Association to help build a stronger relationship among our alumnae and to rekindle our sisterhood now that we are all alumnae. I am eager and excited for our alum to partake in our future fundraisers, workshops, and events we have planned for all of you🌹. Our goal is to upkeep what we always say... Once a Lambda always a Lambda!"

internal community engagement chair

My name is Erika Lepe. I crossed at SJSU, Gamma Chapter Fall ’05, Sigma Class #3! I am excited to be part of the LSG Alumni Association board to bring back the excitement we all felt right after crossing. Reconnecting with sisters/members after leaving our respective campuses has become more difficult, especially when relocating to different cities. This way, we can connect with sisters/members who are our neighbors and reestablish our networking.

I currently reside in the SF Bay Area, CA, with my two pups. I took an alternative route in completing my degree, joining the healthcare workforce first and over a decade later completing my Bachelor of Science degree in Community Nutrition from SFSU, class of 2024.  I hope to bring more awareness of the importance of the Head Start program to our active chapters. I also aim to provide networking workshops for career paths, parenting groups, and more.
