I’m passionate about bringing more alumnae-focused initiatives to our sisterhood and strengthening the bonds within our community. My goal is to ensure that the voices of our alumnae are heard and valued, and I’m committed to enhancing the alumnae experience through meaningful connections and empowering opportunities.
My name is Kenia Ortega-Vega.I crossed Fall 2010 -
Pi Chapter Lambda Class #2. I am extremely excited to be serving in the Executive Board with other wonderful alumnae. I joined the Alumnae Association to help build a stronger relationship among our alumnae and to rekindle our sisterhood now that we are all alumnae. I am eager and excited for our alum to partake in our future fundraisers, workshops, and events we have planned for all of you. Our goal is to upkeep what we always say... Once a Lambda always a Lambda!"
My name is Erika Lepe. I crossed at SJSU, Gamma Chapter Fall ’05, Sigma Class #3! I am excited to be part of the LSG Alumni Association board to bring back the excitement we all felt right after crossing. Reconnecting with sisters/members after leaving our respective campuses has become more difficult, especially when relocating to different cities. This way, we can connect with sisters/members who are our neighbors and reestablish our networking.
I currently reside in the SF Bay Area, CA, with my two pups. I took an alternative route in completing my degree, joining the healthcare workforce first and over a decade later completing my Bachelor of Science degree in Community Nutrition from SFSU, class of 2024. I hope to bring more awareness of the importance of the Head Start program to our active chapters. I also aim to provide networking workshops for career paths, parenting groups, and more.
